Top Hat - Swirly Blue

My second entry to 's contest. And yes, the model is me XD It was hard to take a good and big picture of myself with the hat so I had to make this to show the details on the hat.
Even so, you can't see the blue tulle on the back of the hat because of the light :/

I've chosen this Winter Rose Gem Key www.etsy.com/listing/175416929… in sky blue and had to edit the photo since the picture shows a red one.

Crocheted around cardboard armature, painted white.
* I used a white coton mixed with a silver thread (it shines in real, damn photo >.<), steel hook 2.5 mm (I guess that gives a 00), all crocheted in round, no sewing!

* The roses are made of satin ribbon and glued to the hat.

* The leaves are made of plastic and spray painted, recycled from an old venetian blind and glued to a wire frame.

* The swirls are made of aluminium wire.

* Added some rhinestones to match the key even better! And since I had a keyhole charm, why not add it too?

* There's a comb underneath to fix it onto the hair.

Ma deuxième participation au concours de . Et oui, c'est moi le modèle pour la photo XD Pas évident de se prendre en photo seule, j'ai donc du faire un collage pour qu'on voit bien le chapeau mais on ne voit pas le tulle bleu derrière :/

J'ai choisi la Winter Rose Gem Key www.etsy.com/listing/175416929… en bleu clair, j'ai donc édité la photo qui ne proposait que le rouge.

Crocheté autour d'une armature en carton peinte en blanc.
* J'ai utilisé du coton blanc et un fil argenté ensembles (ça brille bien mieux en vrai :/) au crochet 2.5 mm. Aucune couture!

* Les roses sont faites en ruban de satin.

* Les feuilles sont faites en plastique recyclé d'un vieux store vénitien, bombées en argent et collées à l'armature en fil de fer.

* Les "tourbillons" sont faits en fil d'aluminium.

* J'ai ajouté des strass pour rappeler encore plus la clé, avec une breloque en forme de serrure.

* Il y a une barrette peigne pour l'attacher dans les cheveux.
